Men Who Cook- Postponed until Fall 2022

We are deeply saddened to announce we are postponing our Men Who Cook event to the Fall of 2022. This was a very difficult but necessary decision.

In collaboration with local health officials and RMHC Global, we reviewed the COVID-19 trends in our community and determined this decision was necessary to protect the safety of our families and community. The families we serve take refuge in our homes while their children receive medical treatment in San Antonio and their health must remain our top priority.

We thoroughly appreciate the outpouring of support and enthusiasm we received from our community in regard to our inaugural Men Who Cook event. In lieu of the event, we are offering our teams the opportunity to cook a meal for our families throughout October. We will record the events to share with you on our social media platforms along with other ways you can get involved.

We are disappointed to postpone Men Who Cook as it is one of two major fundraisers planned for 2021 and ensures we are able to provide a comfortable home-away-from-home for our families at a time they need it most. The average cost for a family to stay at our House for one night is $80, to sponsor a family you can donate here:

We look forward to keeping you updated throughout the year and hope to have you join us for our inaugural Men Who Cook event in 2022.

If there are any questions or concerns, please email or call us directly at (210) 580-9000.
